DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team recorded its second Atlantic 10 sweep in as many days with its 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-12) win over VCU Saturday night at Frericks Center. Junior Jamie Peterson and sophomore Amelia Moore recorded more than half of the Flyers' 41 kills to lead UD's offensive attack.

Dayton improves to 5-1 on the season and 3-1 in A-10 play while VCU moves to 8-3 overall and 3-2 in league action.

KEY STATS
• 41 - as a team, Dayton tallied 41 kills to VCU's 26
• 7 - the Flyers combined for seven service aces
• 13 - Peterson led all attackers with 13 kills; she also recorded eight digs and three aces
• 11 - the only other player with double-digit kills, Moore tallied 11 kills, while swinging at .476, to go with three blocks
• 0 - there were zero ties and zero lead changes in sets one and three

After enjoying the friendly confines of Frericks Center for the last three matches, Dayton will head to Cincinnati Tuesday to take on Xavier. First serve is set for 5 p.m. at Cintas Center on March 9.
