NEWPORTS NEWS, Va. - University of Dayton volleyball team has earned three of the Atlantic 10's five top year-end awards in Player of the Year Jamie Peterson, Setter of the Year Bridget Doherty and Coach of the Year Tim Horsmon. The yearly awards, along with all-conference teams, were announced by the league office on Thursday after voting by the conference's head coaches concluded on Wednesday night.

For the fourth-consecutive and 10th of the last 12 seasons, Dayton has claimed the Player of the Year honors. This is Peterson's second-consecutive time claiming the award. Head coach Tim Horsmon picks up his fifth Coach of the Year award.

Dayton placed a total of five players on all-conference teams in addition to two Flyers earning All-Academic Team* honors.

The 2020-21 Atlantic 10 Championship is set for April 2-3 at Dayton's Frericks Center. Top-seeded Dayton will take on No. 4 Fordham Friday at 4 p.m. in the semifinals.
