MURRAY, Ky. - With her two-under-par round on the final 18, junior
Sarah Frazier catapulted 25 spots in the individual standings at the Jan Weaver Invitational Saturday afternoon. Frazier tied for 16th place overall to pace the University of Dayton golf team at the two-day event hosted by Murray State at Miller Memorial Golf Course.
The course was played at par 72 and 6,024 yards.
Host Murray State claimed top team honors with a score of 305-294-299=898 (+34) while Bradley's Taylor Ledwein earned medalist accolades with her score of 69-74-73=216 (E). As a team, Dayton placed 10th in the field of 12 teams with its three-round score of 316-306-311=933 (+69).

After a couple of weeks off, Dayton will head to the sunshine state for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship April 23-25. The three-day post-season tournament will be played at Disney's Magnolia Course with one round of competition each of the three days. The 2020 Championship was canceled due to the pandemic but the 2019 squad finished in second place at the MAAC tournament, the highest finish in program history.
