YPSILANTI, Mich. – The University of Dayton women's rowing team completed its second set of races this season, this time at Eastern Michigan University on Ford Lake.
The highlight for the Flyers was taking two first-place finishes the V8 500-meter races. In the first 500m piece, Dayton was first in a time of 1:48.47 and EMU was second in 1:53.1. UD also won the second 500m race in 1:48.15 and the Eagles were second in 1:52.99. Dayton's winning V8 lineup was:

In the first 500m 2V8 race the Eagles won in 1:49.60 and Dayton's crew was second in 1:59.36. The EMU 3V8 took third in 2:14.45. Eastern also won the second 500m piece in 1:53.78, with UD second in 2:01.08 and the EMU 3V8 third in 2:19.52. Dayton's 2V8 lineup for the 500m races were:

Eastern Michigan won the 2V8 2000-meter race in 7:45.22 with Dayton's 2V8 coming in second in 8:31.68. EMU's 3V8 was third in 9:10.06. Dayton's 2V8 lineup for this race was:
