DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team took their perfect non-conference record back on the road Sunday afternoon, as they were in northwest Ohio to take on the Toledo Rockets. The Rockets handed the Flyers their first loss of the regular season, hanging on for a 1-0 victory.
Dayton's defeat on Sunday is the first loss against Toledo in the all-time series, previously boasting a 5-0-1 record against the Rockets.

KEY MOMENT
The first action of the second half came in the form of a Toledo corner kick in the 47
th minute, and the Rockets would convert on the set piece, getting a goal off of the head of Olivia Dault from the service by Claire Cahalan. The Flyers stayed on the offensive throughout the second half, out-shooting Toledo 4-1 in the second frame, but just couldn't find an equalizer.

The Flyers will play their final non-conference match of the season on Thursday evening, as they will be in Lexington to take on the University of Kentucky Wildcats of the South Eastern Conference. Thursday's match will air on SEC Network +, and is scheduled to kick-off at 7:00 p.m.
