ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The University of Dayton volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-22) decision at Michigan Saturday evening in the finale of the 2021 Michigan Invitational. Senior Jamie Peterson led the Flyer attack with 14 kills and senior Maura Collins got under a match-high 15 digs.

Dayton moves to 6-5 on the season while Michigan improves to 7-2 overall.

KEY STATS
• 14 - Peterson collected a team-high 14 kills to go with eight digs and four aces
• 15 - Collins passed a match-high 15 digs to go with four assists
• 8 - as a team, Dayton served up eight aces compared to Michigan's three

UP NEXT
Dayton is set to open the Atlantic 10 portion of its 2021 schedule next weekend with matches at George Washington and George Mason. The Flyers and Colonials will square off at GW's Smith Center Friday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. followed by a 5 p.m. tilt against the Patriots at GM's RAC on Saturday, Sept. 25.
