FAIRFAX, Va. - The University of Dayton volleyball team posted a straight-set sweep of George Mason, 3-0 (25-19, 26-24, 25-15), Saturday night at the Patriots' Recreation Athletic Complex. Senior Jamie Peterson posted her second double-double of the season with a match-high 19 kills to go with 10 digs.

Dayton improves to 8-5 overall and 2-0 in Atlantic 10 play while George Mason moves to 2-11 on the season and 0-2 in conference action.

KET STATS
• 19 - Peterson led all attackers with 19 kills while swinging at .341
• 17 - senior Maura Collins got under a match-high 17 digs
• 8 - as a team, Dayton served up eight aces to George Mason's zero

UP NEXT
Dayton will head to Pittsburgh next Friday, Oct.1, for an A-10 matchup at Duquesne followed by a return trip by the Dukes to Dayton on Sunday, Oct. 3.
