Itala Gemelli, the Flyers went into the locker room at the half in a 2-2 tie. The Hawks took advantage of their three shots in the first frame, getting two past
Madelyn Dewey to keep the match close until late in the second half. Dayton would get the breakthrough they were looking for in the 67th minute, as
Itala Gemelli took a great pass from
Laney Huber, and slotted the game winning goal into the lower left corner of the net.
