DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team will host IUPUI Friday at 7 p.m. at South Regency Tennis Center in Miamisburg. The Flyers have won 15 consecutive home matches dating back to March 8, 2020.
 
Dayton enters the match 3-3 after winning three matches last weekend against Xavier and Thomas More. The performances led to freshman Eric Perkowski winning the first Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week of 2022.
 
Perkowski won all five matches he played between singles and doubles, and the freshman now leads the Flyers with three dual singles wins so far this season.
 
Senior Will Harper recently cracked the Top 25 in the history of the program with his 31^st career singles victory, while fellow senior Steven Karl ranks tenth all-time with 58 career wins, just six behind Brad Nykiel and Jordan Benjamin.
 
IUPUI enters the weekend at 0-2 this season after dropping two matches to Michigan State and Northwestern last weekend. The Jaguars feature Alex Jochim, who is currently 0-2 this season in the top singles flight after playing at matches in that slot last season.
 
This marks the 25^th meeting between these two schools, with the Flyers holding a 19-5 record against IUPUI, with the last contest resulting in a 4-3 victory by Dayton.
