KETTERING, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's golf team claimed second place at its annual Flyer Invitational Tuesday as Indianapolis was one stroke better in the 36-hole event. Dayton hosted eight teams on the North Course at NCR Country Club Oct. 17-18. The course was played at par 70 and 5,958 yards.
Indianapolis claimed top team honors with a score 315-305=620 (+60) and the Greyhounds' Ancy Dy captured medalist honors with her score of 74-77=151 (+11). Dayton turned in a team score of 311-310=621 (+61) to finish in second place, just one stroke behind UIndy.

UP NEXT
The Dayton Flyer Invitational concludes the fall portion of the Flyers' schedule. After winter break, Dayton will head to Florida in early February for the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic hosted by Lipscomb. The Flyers will be competing at Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City, Florida, Feb. 5-7.
