DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team defeated George  Washington 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-13) Friday night at Frericks Center. Senior Grace Dynda and sophomore Alyssa Miller combined for eight of Dayton's nine service aces on the night.

Dayton improves to 13-10 on the season and 7-3 in Atlantic 10 matches while George  Washington moves to 12-11 overall and 6-4 in league games.

KEY STATS
12 - sophomore Lexie Almodovar led all attackers with 12 kills
11 - sophomore Anna Wuensch led the team with a match-high-tying 11 digs
10 - sophomore Brooke Smith was the second Flyer with double-digit kills with 10
5 - junior Amelia Moore tallied a match-high five blocks
4 - Dynda and Miller each served up four aces
