ST. LOUIS - The University of Dayton volleyball team was bested by Saint Louis, 3-1 (16-25, 28-26, 25-18, 25-22), in the Flyers third match of the week. Sophomore Lexie Almodovar tallied a season-high 26 kills to lead all attackers in the match.

Dayton is now 15-12 on the season and 9-5 in Atlantic 10 matches while Saint Louis moves to 15-11 overall and an even 7-7 in league games.

KEY STATS
45 - junior Livie Sandt records 45 assists, her fourth match this season with 40 or more assists
26 & 15 - Almodovar tallied a match-high 26 kills, her fifth time with 20 or more kills this season, to go with 15 digs for the double-double
19 - sophomore Anna Wuensch got under a team-high 19 digs

Dayton will close out its 2022 regular-season schedule at home with back-to-back Atlantic 10 weekends. UD will welcome first-place Loyola Chicago to Dayton Nov. 4 and 5.
