DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team took down first-place Atlantic 10 foe Loyola Chicago, 3-2 (25-21, 16-25, 27-25, 13-25, 15-12), in roller coaster match Friday at Frericks Center. The loss snaps the Ramblers' 14-match winning streak and ends their perfect A-10 season.
Dayton improves to 16-12 on the season and 10-5 in A-10 action while Loyola moves to 20-8 overall and 14-1 in league play.

Amelia Moore posted a blistering .611 hitting percentage with 11 kills (11-0-18)
36 & 14 - sophomore
Alyssa Miller tallied her third double-double of the season with 36 assists and a team-high 14 digs
18 - sophomore
Lexie Almodovar recorded a match-high 18 kills to go with eight digs and four blocks
6 - sophomore
Alayna Yates collected a match-high six blocks to go with six kills
5 - freshman Taylor Russell served up a career-high five aces to go with nine kills on the night
UP NEXT
Dayton and Loyola will have a rematch tomorrow afternoon as the Flyers hope to make it two in a row against the Ramblers. First serve is set for 4 p.m. at Frericks Center and admission is free.
