BARTONVILLE, Ill. - The University of Dayton women's golf team wrapped play at the Coyote Creek Classic Sunday with an eighth place finish. The 54-hole hosted by Bradley was contested at Coyote Creek Golf Club Oct. 8-9 and the course was played at par 72 and 6,019 yards.
Freshman
Ally Madden turned in the team's low three-round score to lead the Flyers.
In team scoring, Butler and Western Illinois tied for first place but Butler was named team champion after winning the tiebreaker with its score of 315-305-307=927 (+63). Western Illinois' Natalie Hooper claimed medalist honors with her score of 78-78-68=224 (+8). Dayton finished in eighth place among the field with a team score of 317-328-323=698 (+104).
