ST. LOUIS - The University of Dayton volleyball team advanced to the semifinals of the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship after a 3-1 (25-18, 25-21, 20-25, 25-16) win over No. 6 VCU Friday night. No. 3 Dayton will face off against second-seeded Davidson Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Saint Louis' Chaifetz Pavilion.

Dayton improves to 19-13 on the season while VCU closes out 2022 with a 14-17 overall mark. UD's record in A-10 tournament matches is now 34-10 and the Flyers have claimed the last four league championship titles.

KEY STATS
17 - sophomore Lexie Almodovar led all attackers with a match-high 17 kills
13 - junior Amelia Moore was second on the team with 13 kills to go with five blocks
13 - sophomore Anna Wuensch got under a team-best 13 digs
11 - as a team, Dayton recorded 11.0 blocks led by sophomore Alayna Yates with six
