The Flyers fall to 6-5 on the season, while Toledo improves to 6-4 in 2022. Dayton opened the contest by dropping two in doubles play to give the Rockets the first point of the match. Matt and
Joe DeMarco fell at No. 1 doubles 6-0, and Perkowski and senior
Steven Karl dropped a close match at No. 3 doubles, falling 7-6 and putting UD at an early 1-0 deficit.

Sophomore
Ronit Hiryur fell in the second singles flight to make it 2-0 Toledo. Perkowski put Dayton on the board with a straight-set win in No. 4 singles. The freshman took down Cole Shoults 7-6, 6-1 to give Dayton the first point of the day.

Junior
Connor Bruce fell in straight sets as well in the top singles flight and Toledo clinched the match in No. 6 singles, as Karl fell to Marko Galic in straight sets. Senior
Will Harper took his match to a third set before falling to Luka Jankovic in No. 5 singles and DeMarco won in three sets in the third singles flight to give Dayton a second point on the afternoon.

The Flyers will return home for the final three home matches of the season, beginning with a contest against Eastern Illinois next Saturday at 4 p.m. at South Regency Tennis Center in Miamisburg.
