MIAMISBURG, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's tennis shut out Ohio Northern on Sunday afternoon, winning 7-0 at South Regency Tennis Center in Miamisburg. The Flyers took every set from the Polar Bears in the match.

Dayton improves to 6-5 on the season, while Ohio Northern falls to 8-3. The Flyers opened the match by taking all three doubles sets from the Polar Bears. Junior

Laura Greb took the match at No. 1 doubles 6-4 over Olivia Kesner and Miranda Wills.

Neena Katauskas finished the doubles sweep in the third doubles flight 6-0 over Victoria Santana and Marisa Petrunich.

The Flyers kept the momentum going into singles play, taking all 12 sets across the six singles matches. Wojcikiewicz took down Santana in the top singles flight, winning 6-0, 6-0. Hamilton won at No. 2 singles, also taking every point for a 6-0, 6-0 win over Kesner.

Katauskas won at No. 3 singles over Wills of Northern Ohio, also winning 6-0, 6-0. In the fourth singles flight, Greb picked up another win for the Flyers, taking down Regan Landis 6-0, 6-1.

Claire Ghidotti and sophomore
Sarah DeMarco finished off the match winning 6-0, 6-0 each in the final two singles flights to complete the 7-0 victory for Dayton.

The Flyers will remain home for a pair of matches next weekend, starting with a match against Murray State at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at South Regency.
