PINEHURST, N.C. - The University of Dayton men's golf team wrapped play at the weather-shortened Forest Creek Collegiate Sunday. With its team score of 304-293=597 (+21), Dayton took sixth place among the field of 11 teams. The 36-hole event was played at Forest Creek Golf Club on the North Course at par 72 and 6,925 yards.
UNCW claimed the team title with a two-round score of 290-285=575 (-1) while the Seahawks' Walker Isley won medalist honors with his score of 72-68=140 (-4)

The Flyers will open the month of April at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate April 2-3. Charlotte is playing host to the two-day event which will be held at The Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, N.C.
