DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team will host Atlantic 10 foe George Mason this weekend for a three-game conference series. The Flyers and Patriots will play a doubleheader Saturday and a single game Sunday at UD Softball Stadium. First pitch is set for 12 p.m. both days and admission is free.
SCOUTING GEORGE MASON
George Mason (13-14, 3-3 A-10) is coming off two losses at James Madison on Wednesday and Mason went 0-3 at Saint Joseph's in its last A-10 series March 19-20. On offense, the Patriots have four everyday players hitting above .300 led by Taylor Dadig (.400 - 4th A-10) with a team-high 36 hits (1st A-10), 20 runs (4th A-10) scored and 10 stolen bases (4th A-10) to go with 13 RBI. In the circle, Mason's Carly Cooper (7-4) has a 2.97 ERA (3rd A-10) over 66.0 innings pitched with 44 strikeouts (9th A-10).
