STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The University of Dayton men's golf team closed out its 2021-22 regular season schedule with the Rutherford Intercollegiate April 16-17. The 54- hole event hosted by Penn State was competed at Penn State Golf Courses on the Blue Course played at par 71 and 7,202 yards.
Host Penn State captured top teams honors with a score of 287-286-291=864 (+12) and the Nittany Lions' James Allen and Patrick Sheehan tied for first place in individual standings at three under par - Allen won the playoff between the two. Dayton finished in seventh place out of 14 teams with a score of 294-295-297=886 (+34).

UP NEXT
Dayton will head to Kissimmee, Florida, April 29-May 1 for the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship. The Flyers will compete in three rounds over three days on the Watson Course at Reunion Resort and Golf Club for the conference tournament trophy.
