KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - The University of Dayton men's golf team closed out play at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate Sunday. The 54-hole event hosted by Charlotte was contested at The Club at Irish and the course was played at par 71 and 7,099 yards.
Host 27th-ranked Charlotte claimed top team honors with a score of 276-272-280=828 (-24) while Ole Miss' Jackson Suber earned medalist honors with his three-round total of 66-70-66=202 (-11). As a team, Dayton placed ninth out of 15 teams with a score of 284-279-293=856 (+4).

In its final regular-season outing of the year, Dayton will take part in the Rutherford Intercollegiate April 16-17. The three-round event hosted by Penn State will be played at Penn State Golf Course in State College, Pa.
