CINCINNATI - The University of Dayton women's golf team wrapped up play in its first event of the 2022-23 season with a ninth place finish at Cincinnati's Jennifer Duke Invitational. The 54-hole event was played at Losantiville Country Club at par 71 and 6,075 yards Sept. 12-13.
Western Carolina claimed the team title with a score of 301-303-293=897 (+45) while two players finished in a tie for first place in individual standings as Xavier's Emma McMyler (78-69-73) and Coastal Carolina's Sophia Carlsen (75-71-74) turned in scored of seven-over-par 220. Dayton posted a team score of 329-314-324=967 (+115).
