FAIRBORN, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team dropped a tough 3-2 (25-21, 19-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-11) decision at Wright State Thursday night in the first match of the WSU Tru By Hilton Beavercreek Dayton Invitational. Five Flyers tallied double-digit kills in the match.
Dayton heads into Friday's match against Wichita State with a 6-5 overall mark. Wright State moves to 6-3 on the season.

Livie Sandt got under a season-high 48 assists
20 - sophomore
Anna Wuensch passed a team-high 20 digs
14 & 13 - senior
Grace Dynda tallied a team-high 14 kills to go with 13 digs for her seventh double-double of the season
12 & 10 - sophomore
Lexie Almodovar put up 12 kills and got under 10 digs for the Flyers' second double-double of the match. Junior
Amelia Moore also had 12 kills.
11 - sophomore
Alayna Yates recorded 11 kills to go with a match-high seven blocks

Dayton is set to host Wichita State in its second match of the WSU Tru By Hilton Invitational. First serve between the Flyers and Shockers is set for 6 p.m. at Frericks Center and admission is free.
