DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's soccer team started off the Atlantic 10 portion of the schedule with a 1-1 draw against Saint Joseph's University Saturday night.
The Flyers (5-0-1, 0-0-1 A-10) still remain unbeaten while the Hawks (0-2-4, 0-0-1 A-10) earned a valuable point on the road.
KEY MOMENT
- 54th minute – Saint Joseph's scored the equalizing goal in the 54th minute and dug in defensively to earn the tie.

COACH'S COMMENTS
"We rely heavily on our offense to produce goals and we just didn't convert well enough tonight to earn the three points," said head coach
Dennis Currier. "Every A-10 team presents a different challenge and tonight we fell short on winning enough second balls and dictating the game more on our terms."

- The Flyers will head to Rhode Island next Saturday to take on the Rams at 7 p.m. to continue A-10 play.
