BRONX, N.Y. - The University of Dayton volleyball team opened its Atlantic 10 Conference schedule with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-10) win at Fordham Friday night.
Dayton moves to 7-7 on the season and 1-0 in conference play while Fordham is now 6-6 overall and 0-1 in A-10 action.
KEY STATS
35 - junior
Livie Sandt set a match-high 35 assists and was one off a double-double with nine digs
15 - sophomore
Lexie Almodovar led all attackers with 15 kills
14 - freshman
Karissa Kaminski got under a career-high 14 digs to lead all passers
6 - Almodovar served up a career-high six aces
6 - junior
Amelia Moore collected a match-high six blocks
UP NEXT
Dayton and Fordham will square off again Saturday afternoon to complete the two-game series between the Flyers and Rams. First serve is set for 2 p.m. at Fordham's Rose Hill Gym.
