PORT CLINTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's golf team had three players tie for 14th place at the 2023 Rocket Classic hosted by Toledo. The 54-hole was competed at Catawba Island Club Oct. 9-10 and the course was played at par 72 and 5,979.

Host Toledo claimed top team honors with a three-round score of 315-312-298=925 (+61) and the Rockets' Kyleigh Dull won medalist accolades with her score of 73-77-76=226 (+10). Dayton turned in a team score of 315-320-313=948 (+84) in a tie for third place with Ohio.

KEY STATS
7 - junior Megan Yoder carded seven birdies over the course of three rounds, second-most among the field
5.08 - freshman Kylee Heidemann averaged a score of 5.08 on par-five holes, third-best among the field
32 - junior Jenna Harter turned in 32 parred holes for the event, third-most among the field

"Happy with the fight from the ladies today," commented head coach Ellie Cronin following Tuesday's final round. "Scores will naturally be higher in tough, cold, windy conditions. It was a battle that will prepare us well for our home event next week!"
