PEORIA, Ill. – The University of Dayton men's cross country finished their 8K at Bradley University on Friday with a 10th place finish out of 29 teams. Senior

Owen Pukys led the Flyers with impressive performances during the "red race".
Conley finished first for the Flyers with his 12th place finish and 8K time of 24:37.4. This is his fourth consecutive week finishing in the front of the pack for Dayton. Pukys also earned a PR by placing 42nd with a time of 25:04.9. He also improved his standings on Dayton's all-time 8K list from 23rd to 20th with a nine-second improvement over his previous PR.
Calan Gizelbach also came in shortly behind Pukys in 49th place with a time of 25:07.9.
"The quality of racing at this meet was a strong step forward," explained Head Coach
David Dobson. "In the men's 'red race', I really enjoyed the way the men embraced competing. They remained composed and it paid off. Bryce had an outstanding performance leading the team, and Owen and Calan executed very well."
The Flyers will compete in their regular season finale next Friday, October 20 at Wright State University.
