DAYTON – The University of Dayton hosted Loyola Chicago Sunday afternoon and picked up a 2-0 win over the visitors in the final home game of the 2023 regular season.
 
KEY MOMENTS
Opening 20 minutes - The Flyers (11-1-5, 6-0-3 A-10) controlled the game early and the Ramblers (7-7-2, 3-3-2 A-10) were never able to mount a comeback after going down 2-0 just 20 minutes in .
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Dayton had 10 shots in the first half, putting seven on target, while Loyola had six shots, two on frame.
Sophomore Batoul Reda finished with seven saves in the contest and earned her eighth shutout of the season.
Senior Diana Benigno led the Flyers with seven shots as UD outshot Loyola 17-14 in the game.
Seven Flyers played all 90 minutes.
Fouls were equal at 12-12 and there were no cautions.
UD had a 10-4 corner kick advantage.
