KETTERING, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team closed out the fall portion of its 2023-24 schedule Tuesday by hosting the program's annual Dayton Flyer Invitational. The 54-hole event was held at NCR Country Club and contested on the South Course at par 71 and 7,006 yards.
Marquette captured the team title, just one stroke in front of second-place finisher Illinois, with a score of 277-282-281=840 (-12) while the Illini's Timmy Crawford ran away with medalist honors, finishing 10 strokes ahead of the next competitor, with a score of 64-66-67=197 (-16). Dayton finished in ninth place out of a field of 13 teams with a score of 286-291-292=869 (+17).
