#UDVB Sweeps Duquesne Behind 10 Aces And 10 Blocks

Flyers Out-Hit Dukes, .398 to .042

DAYTON - The 18th-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team completed the series sweep of Duquesne with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-9, 25-16) win at home Tuesday night. As a team, the Flyers tallied 10 services and 10 blocks to power past the Dukes.

Dayton improves to 23-2 on the season and 12-0 in Atlantic 10 contests while Duquesne moves to an even 10-10 for the year and 5-7 in league action.

KEY STATS
.398 - the team posted a season-high hitting percentage of .398 compared to the Dukes' .042
11 - junior Lexie Almodovar led all attackers with 11 kills
10 - as a team, Dayton tallied 10 service aces and 10.0 total blocks
5 - senior Lindsey Winner recorded a career-high five blocks on the night
3 - senior Amelia Moore and junior Alyssa Miller each had three aces and three blocks
Duquesne - Carsyn Henschen led the Dukes with eight kills and Chloe Wilmot passed a match-high-tying 12 digs
