PITTSBURGH - The 20th-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team posted a three-set win (25-21, 25-10, 25-21) over Duquesne Tuesday night in a midweek Atlantic 10 matchup at the Dukes' UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. The Flyers were led by junior
Lexie Almodovar with 18 kills and senior
Amelia Moore with nine blocks.
Dayton improves to 16-2 on the season and 5-0 in conference matches while Duquesne moves to 6-7 overall and 1-4 in league action.

32 - junior
Alyssa Miller set a match-high 32 assists
23 - sophomore
Karissa Kaminski got under 23 digs, her fourth match this season with 20 or more digs
18 & 10 - Almodovar recorded her seventh double-double of the season with a match-high 18 kills to go with 10 digs
9 - Moore was one off her total blocks career high with nine (1-8), the fourth time this season she has tallied seven or more blocks
Duquesne - Morgan Gish led the Dukes with 13 digs while Avery Hobson posted a team-high nine kills
UP NEXT
The Flyers will return home this weekend to close out the week at Frericks Center. Dayton will play host to George Mason Friday at 7 p.m. followed by a 2 p.m. match on Saturday. Admission is free.
