DAYTON - The 20th-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team powered past visiting George Mason, 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-15), Friday night behind a balanced attack led by junior
Lexie Almodovar with eight kills. The Flyers served up a total of 10 aces, the teams fifth match this season with double-digit aces.
Dayton improves to 17-2 on the season and 6-0 in Atlantic 10 matches while George Mason moves to 6-12 on the season and 2-4 in league action.

Karissa Kaminski led all passers with 13 digs to go with five assists and three aces
12 - the Flyers have posted 12-consecutive wins
8 - Almodovar collected a match-high eight kills and also got under six digs and served up three aces

Lindsey Winner recorded a career-high-tying four blocks to lead the Flyers at the net
3 - freshman
Kaitlyn McNeel tallied a career-high three blocks and two digs
George Mason - the Patriots were led by Ewelina Gacek and Camille Larkin with six kills apiece
