DAYTON - The 18th-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team completed the program's sixth undefeated Atlantic 10 Conference schedule with its 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-20) win over visiting VCU Saturday in both teams' regular-season finale. As a team, the Flyers served up 13 aces led by freshman
Gaby Arroyo who rattled off five-consecutive aces in set one.

Dayton improves to 29-2 on the season and closes out conference play with an 18-0 mark while VCU moves to 16-12 overall and 13-5 in league games.

24 - Dayton has won 24 consecutive matches, the program's second-longest winning streak
15 - Almodovar led all attackers with 15 kills to go with six digs, two blocks and two aces
13 - sophomore
Karissa Kaminski got under a match-high 13 digs
5 - Winner equaled her career high with five blocks
.462 - Moore posted a .462 hitting percentage with six kills to zero errors in 13 attempts
VCU - for the second-consecutive match, Kialah Jefferson paced the Rams with nine kills
UP NEXT
Dayton will be the #1 seed in the upcoming Atlantic 10 Volleyball Championship. The 2023 A-10 regular season champs will have a first-round bye and are set to face off against the winner of the No. 4 Seed vs. No. 5 Seed match on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. The tournament, hosted by Davidson, will be played at Belk Arena in Davidson, N.C., Nov. 17-19.
