KINGSTON, R.I. - The 18th-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team collected its 22nd-consecutive win Saturday, downing Rhode Island 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-19) at the Rams' Keaney Gym. As a team, Dayton recorded 43 kills to Rhode Island's 16.
Dayton improves to 27-2 overall and 16-0 in Atlantic 10 games while Rhode Island is now 4-24 on the season and 1-15 in league action.

Lexie Almodovar nearly missed the double-double with a match-high 12 kills and nine digs
11 - sophomore
Taylor Russell was the second Flyer with double-digit kills with 11
11 - as a team, the Flyers served up 11 aces with four players recording two aces apiece
10 - sophomore Karissa Kaminksi was the team's leading passer with 10 digs in just two sets of action
.462 - junior
Alayna Yates posted a .462 hitting percentage with eight kills to go with four blocks
Rhode Island - Madi Disu recorded a team-best six kills while Ryleigh Powers got under a match-high 11 digs
UP NEXT
Dayton will close out its 2023 regular season schedule next weekend with two home matches against VCU. The Flyers and Rams will square off on Friday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. followed by Senior Day on Saturday with first serve set for 1 p.m. Both contests will be played at Frericks Center and admission is free.
