AKRON, Ohio - The University of Dayton baseball team scored early and often against the University of Akron Wednesday, March 15, scoring 10 runs in the first five innings and ultimately winning 11-5 at Skeeles Field.
The Flyers scored four runs in the first inning with just two base hits and never looked back. They'd go on to tack on a run in the third inning and four more in the fourth. UD tacked on single runs in the fifth and seventh innings, maintaining the lead the entire way.

Michael Adair went 3-for-6 with two doubles, two runs scored and two runs driven in and senior
Jose Martinez drove in two runs, scored two runs and hit a double.
