PROSPECT, Ky. - The University of Dayton women's golf team claimed third place at the 2023 Nevel Meade Collegiate hosted by Cleveland State. The Flyers were paced by freshman
Christina Pfefferkorn who recorded her first career top-five finish. The 36-hole event was contested at Nevel Meade Golf Course at par 72 and 5,053 yards.
Central Michigan took top team honors with a score of 297-305=602 (+26) while the Chippewas' Casilda Allendesalazar earned medalist honors with her score of even par 70-74=144. Dayton turned in a team score of 307-310=617 (+41) for third place out of 13 teams.
