DAYTON - The University of Dayton baseball team saw its bats silenced by Eastern Illinois Sunday, March 5, dropping game three of the series to the Panthers by a final score of 8-1 at Woerner Field at AES Ohio Stadium.
Though able to spray eight hits throughout the contest, the Flyers mustered just a single run.Â

Paxton Tomaini set the table for the FlyBoys' lone run, singling to start the fifth. With two outs in the frame, senior
Ben Jones doubled down the left field line to put Dayton on the board. The Flyers had eight total hits and stranded seven runners.
