Watson Homers Twice But Flyers Fall to Davidson In Finale

Nolan Watson Slugged His Fourth And Fifth Homers Of The Year

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Fifth-year captain Nolan Watson swatted two home runs, but the University of Dayton baseball team fell in the series finale at Davidson, 8-3, Sunday afternoon at Wilson Field.

Watson hit his first home run of the day to get the #FlyBoys on the board in the fourth inning. Unfortunately, Davidson's offense was firing on all cylinders, jumping out to an 8-1 advantage thanks to a five-run second and a three-run fourth.

The Manahawkin, N.J. native hit home run number two, a two-run shot, in the eighth inning to bring the score to 8-3, but the Flyers would get no closer.
