DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team will host Saint Louis Friday and Saturday for a three-game Atlantic 10 series. The Flyers and Billikens will play a single game Friday at 4 p.m. followed by a doubleheader Saturday starting at 12 p.m. All home games are played at UD Softball Stadium and admission is free.

Izzy Kemp (8-4) holds the team's low ERA of 1.05 (13th NCAA) with 120 strikeouts (31st NCAA) over 86.2 innings pitched.
SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS
Saint Louis (14-19, 6-2 A-10) hosted Southern Illinois Wednesday, dropping a 10-2 decision to the visiting Salukis. SLU in currently in second place in league standings, just ahead of A-10 newcomer Loyola Chicago. The Billikens has six players hitting above .300 led by Gabbie Kowalik with a .437 average with 45 hits, including a team-best nine doubles, while Abby Mallo has collected a team-best 33 RBI and recorded six home runs. Saint Louis' pitching corps is paced by Chloe Wendling (12-10) with a 3.30 ERA and she has tallied 109 strikeouts with 14 complete games over 138.0 innings of work.

After falling to Saint Louis, 7-3, in the first game of the Atlantic 10 Championship, Dayton downed the Billikens 10-1 the following day to advance to day three of the tourney. UD has won five of its last seven meetings with SLU.

In the NCAA's Rating Percentage Index (RPI) for games through April 5, Dayton came in at 134 according to NCAA.com. Saint Louis was ranked 249.
