DAYTON – The University of Dayton baseball team pulled out a 7-6 comeback win over Butler thanks to seventh-inning home runs from 
Carlos Castillo and 
Marcos Pujols on Wednesday at Woerner Field at AES Ohio Stadium.
The win, played in front of a loud School Day crowd of nearly 400, gives head coach 
Jayson King the 800
th of his career, becoming the 27th active Division I coach to reach the milestone.
UD jumped ahead early with three runs in the first two innings, but the Bulldogs struck back with four unanswered runs over the next five innings to take a 4-3 lead.
The Flyboys powered their way back on top courtesy of two two-run homers in the home half of the seventh off the bats of Castillo and Pujols to go ahead 7-4. 
Butler made things interesting with a pair of runs in the top of the eighth inning, but the combination of 
Matthew Johnson and 
Anthony Hattrup slammed the door shut to secure the 7-6 victory.
