Dayton Drops Midweek Opener to Raiders

Michael Crossan Struck Out A Pair In One Inning Of Work

FAIRBORN, Ohio – The University of Dayton baseball team fell behind early and never recovered against Wright State Tuesday night, falling 11-2 to the Raiders at Nischwitz Stadium.
 
WSU plated multiple runs in each of the first three innings and UD's offense was stagnant, finishing the night with one run on five hits.
 
Senior Nate Espelin tossed two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and allowing just two hits, while sophomore Michael Crossan struck out a pair in a scoreless inning.
