Mairin Wessner tallied a pair of goals and added an assist to help lift the University of Dayton women's soccer team to a 4-1 victory over in-state foe Cincinnati Sunday night at Baujan Field.

The Flyers (2-0-0) opened the scoring in the 19
th minute of the contest when
Noel Blain beat the keeper for her first of the season.

UD found gold again in the 38

Madison Wilson notched her second tally of the season off an assist from Wessner.

The second half became the Wessner show, as the Northville, Mich. native found the back of the net for her second goal of the season in the 78

Cincinnati crept back into the contest with a goal just a minute later, but Wessner stopped the momentum in its tracks, notching her second goal of the night, this time off an assist from
Diana Benigno.
