Flyers Finish Non-Conference Slate with Draw at Michigan State

Madison Wilson Scored UD's Equalizer In The 79th Minute

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The University of Dayton women's soccer team finished the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 2-2 draw against Michigan State Sunday afternoon at DeMartin Stadium.
 
KEY MOMENTS
Just 46 seconds after Michigan State pulled ahead, senior Madison Wilson tallied the equalizer on a strike from beyond the 18. It was the London, Ontario native's third goal of the season.
 
Trailing 1-0, fifth-year Mackenzie Lutz stepped up in the 65th minute and knocked in a penalty kick to even the score at 1-1.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Dayton finished the match with five shots on goal compared to six from Michigan State.

Batoul Reda stopped four shots, facing 21 overall shots from the Spartans on the game.

Lutz's goal was the first of her career.
