UD Out Shot SBU 20-4, But Were Shut Out For The Third Time

OLEAN, N.Y. – The University of Dayton women's soccer team started Atlantic 10 play with a scoreless draw at St. Bonaventure Thursday night from the Marra Athletics Field Complex.

KEY MOMENTS
With the scored tied and the game nearing its conclusion, fifth-year senior Marlee Taylor rifled a shot from beyond the 18-yard box that was narrowly pushed aside by Bonnies' keeper Chiara Gottinger.

After the Flyers' defense held SBU to just a single shot in the first half, St. Bonaventure managed three in the second half, all turned aside by UD's sophomore keeper Batoul Reda.

The scoreless draw is the second of the season for the Flyers, who also finished 0-0 with Illinois earlier this season. It was Dayton's first scoreless tie since the NCAA moved to eliminate regular season overtime.
