Taylor Russell combined for 30 of the Flyers' 46 kills in the match.
Dayton closes out the weekend with a 13-2 overall record and 2-0 mark in conference play while Loyola moves to 2-11 on the season and 0-2 in league games.

40 & 10 - junior setter
Alyssa Miller tallied her sixth double-double of the season with 40 assists, her eighth match this season with 40 or more assists, and 10 digs
16 & 11 - Almodovar led all attackers with 16 kills to go with 11 digs for her sixth double-double of the year
15 - sophomore libero
Karissa Kaminski got under a match-high 15 digs
14 - Russell equaled her season high of 14 kills, the second Flyer in double-digit kills
8 - as a team, the Flyers served up eight aces, led by Russell with four, compared to the Ramblers' two aces
Loyola Chicago - the Ramblers were led by Bree Borum with 22 assists, eight digs and three blocks
1,000-KILLS, 500-DIGS
With the first point of the match, senior middle blocker
Amelia Moore reached the 1,000-kill mark for her career. She is just the third Flyer in program history to surpass the 1,000-kills, 500-digs mark. After today's match, Moore has 1005 career kills and 582 career total blocks.
UP NEXT
The Flyers return home to the friendly confines of Frericks Center next weekend to open the home portion of their Atlantic 10 schedule. Dayton will host Fordham for two matches Sept. 29 and 30. First serve between the Flyers and Rams is set for 7 p.m. Friday and admission is free.
