DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team suffered its first setback of the 2023 campaign Thursday night, falling 1-0 to IUPUI at Baujan Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Flyers looked to grab the momentum early in the second with a penalty kick, but the Jaguars' keeper made a brilliant save to keep UD off the board.

IUPUI took the lead in the 58
th minute on a goal scored off a rebound.
Though Dayton would tally 18 total shots and cast numerous threatening attacks after the Jaguars' goal, none found the back of the net.
