ANN ARBOR, Michigan - The University of Dayton track and field spent Saturday, at the U-M Indoor Track Building competing in the Wolverine Invitational. In a strong field, Dayton had some impressive performances and quite a few Flyers shined, setting PRs to start 2024.

Highlights

• Jayla Pruitt won the triple jump with a PR of 11.86m, tying the school record set by Maddi Schmidt in 2013.
• Jadyn Haywood finished in second place for both the 60m and the 200m. The sophomore set a new PR and was the highest finishing collegian in both races.
• Haywood set the third-best 60m time in UD history with her 7.55 second finish. She also improved her third-best all-time 200m dash with a time of 24.69 seconds.
• Lauren Santiago set a season-best 400m time of 58.58 seconds while taking third place overall. Her time is now the eighth-best time in the Atlantic 10.
• There were eight Flyers that set PRs on Saturday.
