DAYTON—University of Dayton track and field junior Camryn Thompson will compete in the high jump at the NCAA East First Round in Lexington, Kentucky. The Powell, Ohio, native is set to compete Saturday at the UK Outdoor Track & Field Complex.

FLYERS IN ACTION
Earlier this month, Thompson qualified for the NCAA East First Round with a record-setting performance at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Powell, Ohio, cleared 1.76m to break the school record and finish second at the A-10 Championships. She also helped the Flyers secure the programs first-ever A-10 Outdoor Track & Field title.

Thompson's personal-best mark ranked among the top 48 in the East Region, making her the first Flyer in school history to qualify for the NCAA East First Round in high jump.  She will attempt to qualify for the NCAA Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon held June 10-13.
