RICHMOND, Va. – The No. 23-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team swept VCU in its first road Atlantic 10 match of the season on Friday night, taking down the Rams 25-13, 25-17, 25-19 at the Siegel Center.
The Flyers are now 13-1 on the 2024 campaign and are 3-0 in conference play.
UD's offense was well-rounded once again, as redshirt senior
Lexie Almodovar led the way with 13, redshirt junior
Taylor Russell added 11 kills, and redshirt senior
Brooke Smith had 8. The Flyers finished the night with a .365 attack percentage while holding VCU to just .051.
