SAINT LOUIS – The No. 19-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team claimed its 17th Atlantic 10 Conference regular season title with its sweep (25-14, 25-17, 25-17) of Saint Louis on Friday evening at Chaifetz Pavilion.

The win pushes Dayton's record to 27-1 on the season and is the Flyers' 20th consecutive victory. SLU falls to 11-18 overall and 6-11 in A-10 action, but still holds a one-game lead over George Mason for the final spot in the Atlantic 10 Tournament with one game to play.

Liana Sarkissian paced Dayton's offense with 11 kills while hitting .450 in the contest, while redshirt senior
Lexie Almodovar finished the night with a double-double of 10 kills and 11 digs.

Dayton controlled every statistical category in the match, out-pacing Saint Louis in digs (49 to 38), assists (36 to 27), blocks (9 to 6) and service aces (6 to 3).
